In this week’s Knoxville Symphony Orchestra concerts on Thursday and Friday evenings, guest conductor Jacomo Rafael Bairos takes the podium for works from John Adams and Samuel Barber, as well as the Mussorgsky/Ravel ‘Pictures at an Exhibition.’ Violinist Elena Urioste will be the soloist in the Barber Violin Concerto.
