Sunday at UT: Ready for the World Music Series–Scandinavia

The UT School of Music continues its Ready for the World Music Series on Sunday afternoon, April 3, with a journey to Scandinavia. The program of Scandinavian composers will feature a collection of guest artists and UTSOM faculty members: Espen Lilleslatten-violin, Elias Goldstein-viola, and Kevin Class-piano. The program is under the direction of Miroslav Hristov.
An artistic and cultural artifact exhibit and reception begins at 12:30 p.m. with concert and lecture beginning at 2:00 p.m.— all in the Sandra G. Powell Recital Hall, Natalie L. Haslam Music Center.

Edvard Grieg: Sonata No. 2, Op. 13 in G Major for Violin and Piano
Carl Nielsen: Romance
Johan Kvandal: Elegie Op. 47 for Solo Viola
Jean Sibelius: Duo in C for Violin and Viola

Kurt Atterberg: Suite No. 3, Op. 19, No. 1 for Violin, Viola and Orchestra
