Thursday: Classical Conversations at the Black Box Theater

For classical music fans—or anyone who wants to be one—check out Kevin Richard Doherty’s newest edification, Classical Conversations. In the course of the series, Doherty, the weekend host on WUOT, will be chatting with different Knoxville classical music artists and coax them into performance. He and Knoxville Opera’s Sarah Fitch will co-host the evening’s events.

For the first installment this Thursday evening (May 26th, at 7 PM), Kevin and Sarah will chat with cellist, Mathew Wilkinson, guitarist, Chris Lee, several graduating UT grad students, Jim Eder, Noelle Harb, and Lindsey Fuson, and WUOT’s classical music hosts Melony Dodson and Whitney Dodds.

The location is the Black Box Theater located within the Emporium Center at 100 S. Gay St in Downtown Knoxville. 7 p.m.

Admission is free, but fire code mandates a space capacity of 40 people.
