After November’s First Friday comes First Saturday and a unique opportunity for the Knoxville public to get a first-hand glimpse of the creative processes of local artists and makers.
Under the auspices of Dogwood Arts, Art DeTour: Open Artist Studio Tours is an all-day event on Saturday, November 3, in which 18 artists’ working spaces are opened to the public for viewing, demonstrations, and the sale of artworks. The participating artists and their art run the gamut from photography to glassworks, from metalwork to painting, and from textiles to teapots.
The tour is FREE and self-guided, allowing visitors to set their own pace and preferences.
