In a continuation of last year’s Violins of Hope events, the University of Tennessee School of Music and the Stanford Eisenberg Knoxville Jewish Day School are bringing world-renowned violinist Itzhak Perlman to Knoxville to perform at the Tennessee Theatre. There will be one performance, March 31 at 7:30 PM.
Violins of Hope holds great meaning for Mr. Perlman; at the age of 8, he received his first violin from Moshe Weinstein, the father of the founder of VOH. Violins of Hope events continue to travel around the world teaching tolerance and resilience in the face of terror. Pianist Rohan De Silva will join Mr. Perlman for the concert.
Tickets are available through the Tennessee Theatre website.
