“Fun, funky, and fascinating” is what Steve Jordan is promising with his new, live hour-long Q&A and interview series that will air its first episode on Instagram Live / @jayveerecords on Wednesday, April 1 at 4:00pm ET.
“I’ll be hanging with my dear friend, the one and only, Robert Cray,” says Steve, who produced Cray’s latest record, That’s What I Heard. The two first met on the set of the Chuck Berry documentary, Hail! Hail! Rock ‘n’ Roll. Since then, Jordan has produced several of Robert’s Grammy award-winning and nominated albums, including Take Your Shoes Off and Robert Cray & Hi Rhythm.
Donations made during the livestream will support the Jazz Foundation of America’s COVID-19 Musician’s Emergency Fund.
