At the Bijou Theatre on Friday, December 4: The Bad Plus
As part of the Sites & Sounds From Big Ears series:
The Bad Plus — Reid Anderson (bass), Orrin Evans (piano), Dave King (drums) — traveled to our historic theatre in October 2020 to record a pair of concerts for Big Ears Festival’s ‘Sites & Sounds’ streaming initiative. On Friday, December 4 at 8:00pm, Big Ears streams the second show; it’s a looser and deeper set — a performance that draws closer to the essence of this storied trio.
Bijou Theatre, 803 S. Gay Street, Knoxville, TN 37902. Information/tickets: 865-522-0832, www.knoxbijou.com, www.ticketmaster.com
