The Outpost
Born and Raised Productions, known for several music series around town such as Sunset on Central, is now taking a big next-step with a downtown outdoor concert series in September and October adjacent to a building that will eventually be the permanent home of a music venue, The Outpost.
The outdoor series is scheduled for seven Fridays through October 22nd on the 800 block of State Street, immediately adjacent to 808 State Street, the building that is destined to be home of The Outpost once renovations and building are complete in 2022. Downtowners may know that building as the former location of Community Television of Knoxville.
The seven-Friday outdoor series will feature live music from touring bands and some local favorites, performing from 5:00 PM till 10:00 PM. Food trucks and other vendors will be onsite for sustenance and liquid libations.

The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra: Symphony on the Square

The KSO is offering a free, family-friendly concert on Market Square in downtown Knoxville. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets or chairs. Parking is free after 6:00 PM in the city-owned garages.
