Originally from Memphis, TN, Amanda Brooks is a feature writer now based in Knoxville. Currently a Master’s Candidate in Communication and Information Journalism at the University of Tennessee, Brooks previously earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and a Minor in Theatre from UT Chattanooga. In addition to writing for Arts Knoxville on arts and entertainment subjects, Brooks works in social media marketing on UTK’s campus as part of the Center for Student engagement.
