Four Winners in 2016 Met Auditions for Middle/East Tennessee District

The 2016 Metropolitan National Council auditions for the Middle/East Tennessee District held on Saturday, January 9, in Nashville, TN, resulted in four winners.

Tenor Todd Barnhill from Tabor City, NC, is a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Tennessee School of Music in Knoxville and is a well-known face and voice in UT Opera Theatre productions.

Soprano Jessica Faselt, from Iowa City, IA, is a graduate student at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.

Soprano Evan Kardon, from Philadelphia, PA, is a graduate student at San Francisco Conservatory.

Soprano Lauren McQuistin, from Glasgow, Scotland, is a graduate student at Indiana University-Jacobs School of Music.

The winners advance to the Mid-South Regional audition that will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016
at the Germantown Performing Arts Center, in Germantown, TN.
